I GOT THE FREAKING ALBUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*hyperventilates again*

Okay.

So I went to SM San Lazaro awhile ago. It's my regular stopover whenever I go back and stay at Tondo for the weekend.

So I ate lunch there, walked around and bought an issue of F L A U N T magazine (for only 65 pesos, people).

Then I realized that I wanted the Folie a Deux album.

Then I wondered if someone would get it for me.

...

I guessed not. :|

So I thought I might as well buy it myself. Good thing I brought extra cash.

So I went to AstroPlus (or AstroVision? Sorry I forgot!), and, to my dismay, they only have the *cough* SPECIAL PHILIPPINE EDITION *cough* album.

Ugh.

I remembered when I bought the Infinity on High album. It was also a special Phil. edition. It included the CD (of course), but it didn't have the friggin' booklet! Just one piece of paper folded once. No lyrics, no photos (except the cover), no "special thanks" and other stuff that make an album ~*extra special*~.

Anyway, I asked the saleslady if they had a non-SPE version, and she said they were out of stock already. DAYYYYUM.

Then I remembered that SM Dept. Store has a CD section, so I went there.

And, yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay. They actually have it! Deluxe edition, folks!

DELUXE EDITION!!!

SM DEPARTMENT STORE, YOU NEVER DISAPPOINT! I LOVE YOU! *huggles*

Then, to be sure and not regret again, I asked if the saleslady could open the package so that I could see what's inside.

Oh my.

It looked PRETTY AWESOME.

It has a poster of the cover album and at the back there's a huge picture of Patrick, Pete, Andy and Joe.

But the really really really cool part was the package! It was folded four times and in each fold there's a big picture of a band member with really nice graphics on the side of his face. They each have their own design, so that's really wicked.

And, oh, it also includes a free Folie a Deux button! Weeeeee~~~

Anyway, enough gushing about how supercalifragilisticexpialidociously PRETTY the package looked. Let's discuss the music itself.

Well, like any other Fall Out Boy album, I ABSOLUTELY, PURELY, WHOLEHEARTEDLY LOVED it.

The songs somewhat remind me of those in the From Under the Cork Tree album but with a more upbeat sound. Patrick's voice got so much better/versatile. Also, the bonus tracks aren't bad at all. I really like the remixes of "I Don't Care" and "America's Suitehearts", which also has an acoustic version along with "What a Catch, Donnie."

The Patrick Stump + Brendon Urie duet was a high. :)

And the lyrics... :O

They make me want to wish I came up with them first.

But no, I never will, because Pete Wentz is, like, a lyrical god from music heaven.

So, in conclusion, THE ALBUM IS GENIUS.

Please, please, please BUY IT if you're also an FOB diehard like me!
