well i-i.... i wanna be your lover.

Two of my favorite actors are in one rom-com movie featuring some of the best music ever.

What could be better?

Oh, I assure you, this is nothing like "Juno". Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist is much more lighthearted and more... what's the word again? Oh, yes, nakakakilig.

Kat Dennings was soooo gorgeous in the film, and Michael Cera will forever be my favorite "awkward-in-a-cute-way" actor ever.

The music is mindblowing. I just downloaded the whole soundtrack, and I'm listening to the songs ON REPEAT.

I wanna watch this movie again and again and again, until I forget to breathe.

'Kay. That's all.

my room, polaroid style.

My room is my headquarters.
My room is where I concoct all my devilish plans.
My room is where I live, sleep, cry and blog.
This is my room.

Seen here: A part of my notebook collection, a part of my magazine collection, some books I own, the trash bin, my one and only pair of Chucks (I'm so poor), art materials, a small part of my bag

Seen here: My clock, the big mirror, daily stuff I bring to school, my stuffed monkey, a big piece of white cartolina and ET CETERA.

Seen here: The very very very old wardrobe. It's been around with my family for ages, I think.

Seen here: My pillows and my bed sheet. They do not ever match every time the maid changes them.

Seen here: My dad's office computer that was given to me by him.
Yes, I do have a pink Hello Kitty keyboard. Don't judge.

Seen here: A lot of bags, some used, some not so used.

Seen here: Two doors and a light switch.

Seen here: An illustrated portrait of my grandmother who passed away seven or eight years ago and my now eighty-five-year-old grandfather who I'm living with right now.
Their love story is a unique one. I'll tell you all about it sometime.

Seen here: The room across from mine which will be occupied by my brother when he starts college in June. Also seen here is the way to the staircase going downstairs.

So that's my room. There are a lot more quirky things in it that aren't seen in these pictures, but I only wanted to write about the major parts of it.

No, I don't have a polaroid camera. I just used a really awesome editing tool on the net.

Au revoir.

outfit box #1: valentine's day-inspired

So I just recently began making outfit boxes like the one above. This one's inspired by Valentine's Day, which is just around the corner.

I never usually care about this "holiday", but my design class just had this Valentine's Day thingamajig this afternoon, so I'm kind of still in a hangover.

Anyway, my main colors are, of course, the undying red and the really pretty fuchsia. I tried to stay away from the very cliche hearts, but I just couldn't resist. It's my favorite shape, so... =P

Anyway, I hope you all like it.

spring awakening.

Spring 2009 runway photos and more, plus my own unnecessary comments.

Let's look at menswear first. I love the red collar in this coat. It totally pops out from the all-black ensemble.

I am totally digging this whole androgynous look. I like the play on volume in the jacket, and the narrow pants. This looks really good.

This white rose "helmet" is by Chanel. No surprise there. It looks so elaborate but it is so gorgeously executed, and the plain white dress matches very well, too.

Can you say ultra expensive lingerie? Ah, well, it's supposed to be a dress, but look at the detailing. The sheerness of the fabric makes it look even more delicate... and a little dominatrix-meets-romantic.

I love love love this coat! And the yellow dress! Pastel colors overload, but I like it.

Anyone who doesn't like this silhouette is a big idiot. I've seen this kind of ensemble before, but the edgy lines here are just epic.

The whole concept of this trench coat is superfreakishly brilliant. And pretty. The paintbrush strokes add a quirky little touch to the classic trench coat.

This outfit reminds me of the 70's for some odd reason. Maybe it's because of the model and her hair? I dunno. But what she's wearing is certainly prettyyy.

I'm not really sure about this look. I mean, I love that kind of floral print, but the way the pieces were put together is kind of all over the place. Looks a bit messy to me. I do like the belt, the black neck bow and the skirt. Cute.

Christian Dior, why do you always do this to me? Your clothes always get me short of breath, and this is certainly no exception. This "bridal gown" is so simple yet charming yet beautiful yet effortless yet stunning.

This is my first time doing fashion commentary (on blogs), so you'll have to forgive me for all the vague descriptions and sudden gushes of delight.

Ciao.
